2017 Walk4Hearing

Last weekend, I photographed the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) and their annual Long Beach Walk4hearing.

What’s the point of the walk? To increase public awareness about hearing loss, help eradicate the stigma associated with it and raise funds for programs and services.

You most likely know of someone with a hearing loss. About 20 percent of Americans, 48 million, report some degree of hearing loss. Remember hearing loss can affect anyone; doesn’t matter your race, age, or social economic background.

Below are some of my favorite images from the walk, all shot digitally by me on my Sony a7II. © Marisa Sarto 2017. More photos will be posted on the Long Beach Walk4Hearing Facebook page.
